愛・女孩 Love・Binti 國際宣傳說明
In African rural villages,
over 80 percent of
girls don’t have access to sanitary products,
preventing them from getting an education.
Many uses animal skins,
dirty rags or even a plastic bag
as an alternative
which can cause severe infections.
This is where Love‧Binti steps in
In order to solve education
and sanitary pad issues,
we began developing cloth pads
that fit their needs.
Every month our volunteers will bring pads
that people made in their suitcases to Africa.
Volunteer groups will teach girls,
how to make their own cloth pads.
At the end of each teaching session,
we will distribute the finished pads to each girl.
In order to support and empower
vulnerable women and unmarried pregnant girls,
We decided to establish
tailoring workshops in Africa.
The money we raise will cover
the cost of materials, supplies,
equipment and maintenance of the workshop.
We will then hire vulnerable women and
unmarried pregnant girls
to make DIY reusable pad kits.
These kits will be delivered to local NGOs,
schools, churches, and Love．Binti workshops.
Volunteer teams will buy the pads
from the workshop
to send them to remote areas
of the country.
Women in Love‧Binti
workshop will also be able to
sell the products
in the local markets to sustain themselves.
Love．Binti aims not only to
solve the problem of sanitary pads
and prevent girls from dropping out of school,
but that every woman and girl
would be able to chase after their dreams.
